Male leopard (Panthera parduc) was born at Sosto Zoo. The parents (the Danish male and the French female) have lived in Sosto Zoo for years, and they have had offspring every year since 2007.

Unique surgery was executed on the sandbar shark (Carcharhinus plumbeus) of Sosto Zoo. It was necessary because at first prolapsus was diagnosed.
